There are people selling replacement Rem 788 44 Mag Magazines for about $30. I have a old original Remington 788 44 Mag Magazine. Is it worth more than a new manufacture magazine?
You just have to love english majors that correct your sentence structure. Seriously thanks ATF!

It depends. Would an original cost a bunch more? Most likely.
Maybe it will all clear up after a cup of coffee.[:D][:D]

How about you retype it and leave out the word only?

Doing this from memory only, I have a 788 and recently picked up a few mags from Numrich (they were the only folks I found on line with the 7-08 replacement magazine) and IIRC they were charging a bit more for the factory originals than aftermarket.
The 788 rifle in 44 Magnum is more difficult to find than other calibers, you may want to check the GB auction side as I believe original magazines for the 44 are more expensive. Only my opinion but I wouldn't pay a whole lot more for factory original. The aftermarket ones are well made and appear a close copy of the originals.
If it were mine I'd start it at 40 or 50, or even 1 cent, and see where it goes.
