Unusual Uberti?

A portion of the Colt (pony) logo appears on a Uberti SAA revolver next to the patent dates lines. This seems unusual. Any body familiar with this? This is a very small impression but it is obviously the lance in the colt's mouth.

For anyone to accurately say what you have here, a number of good, clear, very close-up photographs (no huge blurry images, please), detailing the gun and its markings would be the number one choice to determine anything about the gun, along with a detailed print description of every marking on the gun in relation to the photos that you post.

The way it stands, your request is problematic:
==What you describe may not be the Colt logo at all.
==What you have may be a parts gun made from an old Colt frame and Uberti parts, which could be difficult, but not impossible.
==Someone could have had access to a counterfeit Colt logo stamp and performed a poor job of applying the impression.
==You pick the possibility or decide how badly you want answers.

Invest some time into supplying adequate information to the forum and you will get good answers. Most of these guys are extremely reluctant to go to the effort that I just did if you do not do your part, too. Right now, your request is akin to borrowing your neighbor's lawn mower, then asking him to mow your lawn for you.

Thank you very much. I will take some pictures. I think you will see what I'm talking about.
