Savage 99 identity

Can anyone tell me which model 99 this is, I think it is a 99 EG but I am not sure now as there are too many fine differences between them all, or if someone can tell me what to look for so I can ID it myself, that would be great

it is in good condition for it's age, any idea of value? The grip cap is missing..

IF it has not been re-blued (can't tell from the photos) in the depressed market it might bring $350-$425 in my area. 300 Savage is the most common, and a good cartridge for hunting, not so much for collector value. A lot of variation in prices regionally.
