I need an extractor for my .270 Win. My local gunsmith says it is a difficult part to find. (implying expensive).
Is he right?
How much should I expect to pay?

So I checked Wisner and he has new ones for $55.75

If you buy the part and take it to your Gunsmith it will be cheaper. If he buys it, expect the part to cost $10-20 bucks more.

There, that's the hard part. All you have to do is the calling for price and availability.
Best.
Excellent advise. That really helps me!
I will print this and ues it well.
Thank's again!
And it's GREAT to be here![8D]
Email if interested and I'll double check to make sure it's the right one before we proceed. My old man worked in the ballistics lab at Winchester (New Haven) during WWII and I have a few parts hanging around.
