I tried this last week. Had some lookers but no answers. Can't believe I stumped this panel....

What kind of spring goes under the bolt on a 1905 version of a Colt New Police .32 revolver?

I bought a 1905 version of the New Police 32, disassembled, a while back. It is complete except for ejector rod knob and bolt (cylinder stop) spring and all goes together nicely. I don't have an exploded diagram for this pistol among my reference books and don't have another model to compare. Numrich says the spring is the same as Diamondback (very small dia. coil). It looks to me from the shape of the hole in the bolt there should be a flat spring with a loop to slide into the part. Anybody know for sure?
