I bought an old model 28-2 today as a project gun and I noticed the symbol for "and" in Smith & wesson was shaped different than my other model 28 and 29, could any of yall tell me how old it is from the serial # S306878

1968-1969 according to Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson.
