winchester model 88 assembly instructions?

where can i find some instructions too put my friends model 88 back together.he tore it down too clean it and now he wants me too put it back together.i have never been in a 88 so i dont have a clue lol.numrich doesnt show a drawing of that rifle.any help is apprec.thanks don

There are 2 books on GB now. Go to home page and type winchester 88. There are some also on eBay.

Buy the book like suggested, they have very good diagrams on assembly. The key is to have two slave pins. One for the guard latch assembly, and one for the hammer/trigger guard assembly. These pins have to be short enough to slide the assy into the receiver, then are driven out by the full length pins.
