My reference shows that Continental Arms Co. is a "Trade Name" used by the Marshall Wells Co. ( probably a hardware store, or distributor ) of Duluth Minn. The Shotgun might have been made by Stevens?

    jdhogg,
patent number 1070145 dated 8-12-1913 issued ot g.s. lewis and assigned ot j. stevens arms & tool co. for rebounding hammer. there is 99.999% chance this 'continental arms co.' marked shotgun was manufactured by stevens between the two wars.
