Was wondering if anyone ever used Berrys bullets .
I need to pick up 1000 bullets , I can get 124gr FMJ Berrys for $53 delivered . Are they the same as any other FMJ bullet from other bullet makers like Speer or Hornady ? I can get the same bullet made by Win. , but the cost delivered is $64 . I'm only using the ammo for plinking , but don't want to shoot lead bullets .
I'm not sure what they mean by " Swaged " then plated ?

Swaged means that it has been pushed through a sizer or formed by a sizer before the plating was applied.
They are the most IN-ACCURATE Junk I have ever shot. At 200 yards some bullets will hit TEN FEET from the last point of impact. They are out of round vary in length and are not worth the troube to scrap.
A plated bullet is JUNK IMHO.
A jacketed bullet is GOOD! Make sure they are jacketed not plated.
I think I'm going to spend the few extra dollars and go with the winchester bullets , and I'm also going to try a few lead bullets from this guy

If they are swaged after casting or swaged from lead wire they will be as good as you can get a plain lead bullet. If they are plated after swaging, even better and if they are sized after plating; better yet.
Two hundred yard pistol shooting should involve controls on other handloading variables in addition to perfect bullets.
I get a machine gun pattern on the target. Get what you pay for I guess. Stick with a respected source. IMHO
