Does any one have any idea what this gun may be worth in excellent condition. We can not find any information on the web about this gun. Any information or web site where I can do some research would be helpful. Thanks

Hawes was a Southern Calif. importer/distributor who was in business during the late 60's-mid 70's time frame. The various Sauer handguns he imported, was probably the highest quality guns he handled.

In the catalog section of the 1969 Gun Digest the various Hawes "Marshal" centerfire revolvers, were priced just below the Rugers chambered for the same calibers. Unfortunately nowadays there is quite a substanial difference in what the used Hawes revolvers are selling for, as compared to the Rugers. He imported and sold so many crappy guns back then, that everthing with his name on them got a black eye.
