Just wondering what you all thought that these rifles are worth. Both are 30-30's. One is a Buffalo Bill, unfired, with box but no papers and the other one is a Teddy Roosevelt, unfired, no box but does have the papers. I can get 'em both for a grand or 525.00 apiece. Deal or no deal?

Which Teddy and which Bill? Book on both at 100% is under a grand. Offer 5 or 6, hunt for the papers for one and shoot the other. No crossbolt safety and getting a pretty gun dirty is fun![8D]

$800 for the pair is what you should be shooting for (pun intended[:D]). Commemorative Model 94s that are not 100% complete and unfired have little or no collector value... they are simply dolled up shooters.
