S&W 696 .44 Special

I bought a S&W 696 today for $349.00. It has a few minor scratches, but I would say it is about 90%. It is also ported. Did I do okay? Do you think the porting came from the factory or not? Anybody have one and what are your opinions? I will use it for Home Defense and car carry.
