hello just a short question can a stamped ak receive be used on milled ak kit thank you

ive been thinking of building an ak-47, any advice on a project like this, is it tuff?? any gunsmithing skills needed?? also what are some supliers where i could get the best milled recievers, chrome lined barrels, parts and acc. stuff like that

Ive built a Romy, Stamped receiver, Screw build.

The worst of it is demilling the remains of the old kit. Getting that barrel pin out is a pain in *. Once all was said and done though the actual build was probably about 3 hours.

Id try a stamped receiver one first. Theyre cheap enough. A (GOOD)milled receiver will cost you about as much as complete AK. Its fun, and rewarding. Theres a lot of good resources for building AK's on the net. I have no gunsmithing skills and managed it. Only did it with screws because it was easier and im impatient.

I've built 4 on stamped receivers with rivets. I would not do a milled build as they are super expensive even if you can find a kit that uses a milled receiver.
