hello, Ive decided to go with a xd 357 and ive noticed there are a few versions of the model 4" or 5" barrel. Is there a big difference in these models and can anyone explain? here is a website that im looking at with all the versions. Also what would be a good tac light for this pistol?

Have you contacted "ecc" regarding his selling of XDs at wholesale pricing?
I have the XD-45 and XD-40 with 4" barrels and would recommend this length for all around use. If you are going to use this for precision shooting, then there may be some benefit to the longer barrel.
no, who is ecc?
He's a mod over in general discussion. nice guy.

He had a deal going back when I first posted where he was selling 10 XD pistols at cost. I picked up a XD-9 Bi-Tone in 4". Very nice person to deal with.
