Proof mark referencies

Hi
I am looking to find an online reference to proof marks and the
dates which go with them. Focusing on the late 1800's period
& to include in particular Belgian Liege marks found on small revolvers. I'd like a fairly official site &/or any books which offer the same info.
Any help appreciated.

Here are links to two books in my library. Don't know of any such on-line sources. Next time you wet a line in a chalk stream, give it my regards.

Click the "Continue to this website" link if it pops up. It's safe and is part of Bluebook.com
I also have Armourers Marks by Dudley S Hawtrey Gyngell printed in England. Out of print but may be available used.
Also Stockel, in two volumes, with along title in Danish I can't begin to write. It is what is called by collectors Old Stockel, published in 1938. There is a "New" updated Stockel printed in Germany around 1980.
Stockel, old or new, is considered the "gold standard" for maker ID and marks for old guns. New Stockel sold in the '80s, two maybe three volumes for around $300.
Old Stockel was reprinted around 1970 by the Danish gov't and I used to buy it in Copenhagen for about $6 and sell at my Long Island gun club for $10. It might be easier to find and cost less.
All the best...
David
