If you could post a picture it would be easier to figure out. I don't have any info on that one.

I just bought a 1957 Winchester Model 88 with a Leupold Pioneer scope and adjustable bases. I'll take some picture, then figure out how to post hem here.

    That's the Leupold "Adjusto-Mount".

Elevation is in a nut in the front base, which adjusts with an Allen wrench THROUGH the center of the nut(in some versions fron above, some from below); in either case, with the scope off the rifle.

Windage is by loosening/tightening opposing screws on the bottom of the rear ring, with the scope ON the rifle.

I have an "early" (the one-peice base is made of a hard copper alloy, blackened) adjusto-mount on a Rem 721. Windage adjustment can be made via opposing screws in either front or rear ring with (if I remember right) a 5/64" allen wrench. Elevation adjustment is made with an allen wrench from below the rear ring. One of the rear ring opposing screws must be loosened slightly when turning the elevation screw since the opposing screws bind the elevation screw in place. The scope does not have to removed to make these adjustments.

I just went down to the basement and looked through one of my "junk boxes" and found a NIB adjusto-mount base for a 1903-A3. It includes the wrench and I was right--it's 5/64". But, also, the INSTRUCTIONS are in there! If it will help you, and we can make connections, I'll make a copy and send it to you.

I don't think you can contact someone through a closed auction. I tried to contact the seller on a closed auction once, and the GB system wouldn't allow it.

I do have a couple pictures of the mount to post. Can anyone tell me how?
