Can 9mm dies be used for 38 Super and 9mmx23?

They can be used for 9 X 23 but not 38 Super. The base dimensions of the 38 Super cartridge is not as tapered just above the rim as the Metric cartridges.

Can't understand the fascination with using stuff clearly marked for other stuff to do what it wasn't designed/chambered for.
It's not like the third week after the apocolypse or anything....

I have used 9mm for reloading the 9X23 Largo. Very similar to the 9X23 (modern) in dimensions. No issues. But it is a lower pressure cartridge.

If you load for over 25 calibers why replicate three sets when a 9mm will do for all three calibers.
Measurements of 9x23 and 38 Super brass show the same body dimensions, As my ASTM standards predate the 9x23 I submitted the question.
Why be so wasteful of the limited replies in the Expert's Column, boobies.

Since it's my reply; I'll waste it any way I see fit. Many a Kaboom has been caused by nimrods choosing "other" when confronted with a yes or no question.

Quoting Ovid doesn't impress in this column, gun knowledge does.
You haven't shown anything here but bad manners.

    Here are some numbers for you to compare....9MM/.38 super>>.384" base , .384" neck , .900" length. Now the 9x23Win>>>.392" base , .381" neck ,
    .900" length..And last the 9mm Largo>>.380" base, .379" neck. Do NOT try
to use any high pressure Super or 9x23Win in a gun chambered for the LOW
    pressure Largo round. bob

Mebbe you shoulda asked this in the appropriate forum; ya know, the one for reloading?
All snipes (from you) aside, I load for over 30 calibers and have dies for each. I also load 38Super & 9mm, but I don't have an Astra, nor do I see the need to load the Largo with anything but dies made specifically for it.
Quoting Ovid is something I do to wrinkle old starchies.
Quoting EEk The Cat is just for fun.
