Sako super deluxe 22-250

A local dealer has a left hand version for sale for $1,500.00. very light wear, no dings in the stock and as new bore. I did some research and I couldn't get much information on the rifle. Anybody got a feel about the askin price or know any source of information on the gun? The reason I'm asking is I have an older Forrester in .243 and it's really accurate.

Nice gun, I had that gun years ago in RH. Price is cheap as long as you are a lefty.

MD1634- Sakos "Super Deluxe" rifles have the kind of carving and checkering like the featured rifles on the "Link". Many times the Deluxe rifles are tagged with super but they are not. The straight Deluxe rifles have skip line checkering patterns but no carvings. They are more likely to have been made in left hand version generally during the Stoeger import era. (A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 etc.)and newer. Perhaps we need more information.-Mike
