taurus thunderbolt 45lc

I recently purchased a Taurus thunderbolt in 45lc I am interested in using some of the +P loads ie buffalo borer. grizzly and cor-bon hunter. I have checked with local gun shops and recieved a different answer each time. I called taurus and of course they said " factory ammo only" but woud not address the + p issue. Any ideas ? thanks

    Hello I would not use +p the lock up on a repo or original colt lightning rifle medium frame is not all that strong. IMHO if you want something with more power in a pump rifle get a REMINGTON in 30-06. This rifle came about for a market in sass/cowboy action shooting and not for a BIG GAME rifle.
