Marlin 39 model # ?

Back in the 60's (I think) Marlin came out with a 39 that had a Squirrel carved in the butt stock. Dose any one know what model they called it? Also did Marlin ever make a deluxe(with cherkering) from 1960 to 2000? Thanks for any and all help!!! Vernon

    There were three with squirrels that I know of- the 90th anniversary 39A - 500 made in 1960- had chromed barrel and action, checkered stock and forearm. NIB over $1000. Second was the 39A Century Ltd, made in 1970, 35,388 made. Brass medallion on action, checkered stock. third was the 39A ADL
