What do you think a new Winchester 94 Timber Carbine in 450 marlin is worth with box and papers? I have searched on the broker but only find the .444 model. Was the .450 fewer in production than the .450? Or is the .450 more desireable? Thanks!

Can't give you a definite answer, but there is a used one listed on here. It has a starting bid of $750. Hope this helps some.

Also, if you are selling one I may know somebody that is interested when you figure out the price.

I just picked on up for 600 with shipping included. Had to pay 35 for the ffl transfer. Just checking to see if it was a good deal. It is brand new. I will be at the ffl this week. Can't wait! How is the kick compared to my 300 mag?

Got a good deal IMO. Normally I would say that the recoil would be similar to a .300, but I believe that this model was fairly light(somewhere around 6 pounds if I am not mistaken) so I would expect a slight increase in recoil. Nothing you shouldn't be able to handle if you already shoot a .300 though. If you happen to run into another one I would greatly appreciate it if you would let me know. Good luck with you new rifle and let me know how she shoots!

The winny came in last week.

I am so impressed. This was my first online gun purchase and it went really well. It came with the box, hang tags and all paper work.

Now if the temps wouold break the 20's to go shoot it.

Time to go on Cabelas to get some ammo and a leather sling.

The ghost ring sight that came standard on the gun is also pretty sweet. Can find the target pretty quick.

Good to hear, glad everything went smoothly. I gave up my search for one(for now anyway) I ended up going with a Marlin 1895 Guide in 45-70 that I got a really good deal on. Like you, I am waiting out the cold and then will see how it shoots. Let me know how you like that ghost ring sight and if it affects accuracy at all, I am thinking about getting that myself.
