Did the early Remington varmint specials have matte finish floor plates or gloss black? I'm talking about the ones with the (pardon the spelling)fleur-de-lis checkering pattern? I saw one I'd like to buy, but the guy said it was matte finish originally, but I don't think this is so. Any help, and what is a weaver K-10 worth? Thanks in advance
