Can someone tell me where I could find a cartridge stop for a J.C. Higgins model 583.4 12 ga. bolt. I have already tried E-gunparts.com and they are sold out. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a J.C. Higgins 12 gauge bolt action shotgun and was told that Sears had a recall on these a few years back. Does anyone know if this is correct.

Can someone help me with info about the j.c. higgins line of rifles model 50-fn,52-sako,54-browning. What was the actions and what barrels (douglas, etc....) Thanks for any info you can give i'am getting a little mixed up and can't find any written info.

Who made the J C Higgins model 101.7 for Sears it looks real close to a Stevens 311 or 530

my book does not have a J. C. 101.7 but the sears model 101.7 is a stevens 311
