I have a 1937 A5 16 gauge w/safety in front of trigger. Where can I find a manual for this to use to take apart/oil/adjust friction rings? Not really interested in an original manual, just need for maintenance. Thanks

    Here's the online version.
Haven't tried it, but you may be able to print the pages.

Your shotgun may very well be made for 2 9/16 shells, if you are having ejection problems.

Thanks for catching that Barzillia, I somehow overlooked it.

All of the pre-war (safety in front of guard) 16's were chambered 2 9/16".
Try 2 3/4" cartridges and if they eject with no problem go ahead and use them, it won't damage the gun.
