Looking for a good .22 rifle that will shoot the .22 CB shorts. Anybody have any suggestions or recommendations?

    Any .22 will fire them don't know of any that will FEED them. {except the old galley guns and they are worth more to collectors than shooters}

    Use CB longs in a lever gun as shorts will get stuck. The shorts work well in a pump or bolt action. A Rossi or Henry pump are good choices but I use them in my Winchester 62A.

    Was looking at those Rossi 62a's. Might be just what I want if they will shoot the CB's.

    I use to have a Browning BL22 lever action that would feed anything in any order you loaded it.I use to shoot that ammo that had no powder,only the primer to power the bullet.Never stuck one of those in the barrel.

    Hi. I use a Remington Model 241 semiauto (shorts version). It cycles CB shorts just fine. For anyone that has used this type ammunition, then you know that it is extremely quiet. I love it because I can shoot safely in the backyard (it's legal here) AND it doesn't disturb the neigbors (keeps them off my back).

    Try a Remington 581 bolt action. I have one in left hand and it'll feed shorts no problem. They're accurate to boot as well.

    The Remingtons marked for S, L, LR will usually cycle with CCI CB Longs. My 550-1s will run thru a mag full without a stutter- and raises eyebrows at the range!

    i have a mossberg international clip fed bolt action that handles the cb longs very well, the shorts are a bid problematic as fed from the clip. by the way the gun is marked "long rifle only"
