Lyman/Armi Chiappa 22 Hornet

About the same time I read the recent Ruger vs. 1885 Hornet post on these pages, I became intrigued with the 2011 Shot Show introduction by Lyman of a Mini-Sharps in 22 Hornet (also made in 38-55).

It's apparently made by an Italian firm, Armi Chiappa. Besides .22 Hornet, Armi chambers their version in 6 other calibers. On my computer screen, at least, I think I prefer the Armi blued version vs. the Lyman bright metal.

And I see Charles Daly and Dakota make them as well.

Hmmmm....must I have one? With a good quality vintage style scope mounted?

Has anyone had experience with these?
