Which Win 70 matches Win 670 stock inletting

Win 670 screw hole spacings are 7 5/8" apart front to rear and 4 1/2" front to middle.
The magazine box is 3 11/16" long with internal spacers to block it down to 308, 243 and 225 Win length.
There are some nice Model 70 stocks around and I'd like to match one up if possible.
Is the 670 a special or will the long frame Mod 70 blind stock fit?

    v35,

The Winchester 670 is special only in that it was created by Winchester to compete at a lower price point. It was an economy version of the M70 if you will. To keep costs down, only expensive parts were eliminated but the action design and hole spacings remain the same. So yes, the long action, blind magazine stock should be fine.

    Best.

    Thanks, Nononsense.
Cheapo or not, the action is slicker than most other brands I've handled.
It's really worth dressing up if it can be done reasonably.
I'd even go a hundred for that F.L. Mannlicher stock above.
There's a brand new .243, post 64 Mod 70 barrel waiting to go on if the .225 doesn't pan out.
