When did Remington stop making the 870 express in 410 ga? Any Info is appreciated. Terrill

    I've been looking for a Remington Wingmaster 870 .410 and recently found one at a local shop. Looked the gun over and found that the receiver is not marked as a "Wingmaster 870" I had one of these years ago and it had Wingmaster engraved on the receiver. Shop owner tells me that the newer 870 410s made in the last several years do not have "Wingmaster" engraved on the side of the receiver. My questions is when did Remington drop the engraving and does this impact the value of the gun? This is the lightweight version. Thanks.
