Hello, I recently acquired a 12 ga. SxS, heavily engraved, checkered...even on end of stock(no butt plate). Model # would be either SK.102 or SK.182. Right barrel states "EXPRESSLY MADE FOR KASSNAR IMPORTS" HARRISBURO, PA. Left barrel..."BY ZABALA H(folloewed by NOS, underscored, but in smaller letters) S.R.C.-EIBAR MADE IN SPAIN. Can anyone enlighten me to the approximate manufacture date, and value? Gun is in very good condition, used but not abused. Thanks,

    Can't help you with the value? Kassnar started importing firearms in the 80's. Might be in the B B, even with the engraving and fancy checkering doubt if it's a really a big buck item.

    The Spanish used a alpha numeric date code in conjunction with their proof marks. It will probably be on the water table or underside of barrels. Give use all the markings. Somebody probably will be able to date it, for you.
