You are going to have to mod the mag, feed rails and bolt

Cheaper to sell it and buy what you want

Exactly what Chuck said, sell it and buy what you want.

    pacoscott,

Hello, and welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.com.

You will definately have to modify the rails, and most likely install a longer magazine box and follower. I know you will not have to modify the bolt face, but there might be some other alterations you will need to do that I am not aware of, like relieve cut for the fat case.

By the way, if you plan on doing any amount of shooting, I hope you have an extra barrel or two on hand. The 7mm RUM is one of the most pronounced examples of overbore cartridges there is. Barrel life is about 1000 rounds at best, unless you down load, and down loading is not good with a case of that magnitude.
