Is this an original Sharps pepperbox?

    It appears to be a Model 1B. What is stamped on the other side of the frame and does it have a matching serial number on the bottom of the barrel? The left side of the frame should say C. SHARPS PHILADA

    Yes there is a matching number on the underside of the barrel, only visible when the barrel is slid out. There are no markings on the other side.

    The markings on the right side may be worn off but it's a real .22 caliber Sharps Model 1B.
