I have a small revolver I found in my brother in laws house when I helped him move, it was wraped in an dirty rag on top of a heating duct in the basement, he gave it to me. I have found out it is a H&R American Double Action first model, 2" round BBL, all nickle finnish (80%) no visable serial #

Have a gunsmith look it over first. These were low-cost revolvers and chambered for lower pressure rounds - .32 S&W short, .38 S&W and some rimfires - this will make sure you get the proper ammunition to fire, if the gunsmith finds the pistol safe to fire.

If it's a first model ADA, it was made for black powder and should not be fired with current smokeless powder ammo.
