de oppresso liber is the motto of our Army Special Forces guys. The dagger you have pictured, quality wise, sure don't look like anything they would be carrying/using though.

It looks like a Gerber Mk II "Guardian" boot knife. I've heard of those being made with the SF crest for SF'ers graduating the 'Q' course. However, I can't say if Gerber put their name to those. Something about your company name and a military product. Just like "Case" isn't stamped on the original V-42's or "Camillus" not being stamped on the original M-3's.

Best guess is: if it's the real deal $200, if not then $25.

Edit: These were a favorite of SFer's and not officially sanctioned like the Yarborough knife. Edit II: Which also brings into question why the name would or would not be on the knife.

Edit III: Thanks for straightening out his pics nononsense. IMO the handle and hilt have Gerber written all over them. The Japanese company who built these at some time had a falling out or something with Gerber. I have a knife that looks just like a Gerber Mk I but says nothing of who made it. It is one hell of a good knife!

United Cutlery (maker) 210 (model number). It's a shank and leave 'em knife. Basically a knock off of Gerber.
