C-Lect Choke Question

Picked up a Mossberg 500C today with what I believe has a factory installed C-Lect choke.

What normal cleaning & oiling (if any) is needed?

Thanks,

Jim

Yes, needs cleaning, or may become an un-adjustable choke. When you clean the bore, unscrew the choke, clean, wipe down threads, light coat of lube on threads. We used to call them the "Dial-a-Duck". This is a link to an original Mossberg Owner's SHEET (back then, they figured they did not need to write a book) that gives instructions on the C-Lect choke. http://www.box54.com/183DG&KD Inst.jpg

    11b6r,

Thanks. Instructions right from the manufacturer is usually the best. Saved the instructions for future reference.
