i have a 1863 spingfield 30cal rimfire revolver. finish bright and shiney so is the bore. laoding gate is missing. anybody know the value or anything about these guns.

    They had a silver plated brass frame. Flayderman's Guide lists value in Good condition as $175 but if it's "bright and shiney" I suspect it's been polished which will subtract from value as will the missing loading gate.
