Numerous Guns (list 4)

I need to sell off most of my dad's gun collection to pay for his funeral. I don't know what some of these guns are, nor do I know the worth of any. I would greatly appreciate any help from you knowledgeable folks. I can quickly supply larger images if the thumbnails aren't enough.

Note to buyers: These aren't for sale quite yet (4-20-11). One of them (the over/under barrel, I believe) belongs to someone else, one is an heirloom (Egyptian model, I'm guessing), and I'll also be keeping the Baretta. When they do go up for sale, I'll only ship to an FFL. Will likely update with detailed conditions when I get things figured out.

13: Baretta 92 F-W (likely keeping this one)

14: Jennings Model '38' 380 Auto (parts may be missing, but I suck at following diagrams)

15: Ten Point Elite X-2. Obviously this isn't a gun, but my dad had it due to a severe shoulder injury. He claimed to pay big money for it, but I could only find parts for sale online.

#14 is cheap crap. Be sure to put disclaimer after disclaimer in your auction write-up. Something to the effect of "all sales being final, buyer should have gunsmith inspect before firing" etc. That being said someone will still pay 50-75 bucks for it.

Even if you sell all (15) firearms, you are going to fall way short of the $8K figure you mentioned that you need. My best guess is that you might be able to net about $3K total (and that may be a bit optimistic on my part).

Of all of those weapons the only one that I would consider a possible family heirloom would be the model 12.

Concur. That and the Stevens .22/.410 over 'n under combo. AA, find out from the family just which one was in the family since at least GramPap's day.

    Two other items:

    1. Prices quoted here on these boards reflect the price garnered right here on Gunbroker Auctions. Deduct 50pct. if you were to walk into a gunshop to sell them.

    2. These forum boards prohibit direct 'for sale-for trade' transactions. When you are ready to sell, place the items over to the Auction side of this website. Post a 'heads up' (on the General Discussion forum) when you have done so. It will give us the opportunity to bid, also. Best, Joe
