The Walther factory was destroyed during WW2. After WW2, a new factory was built in Zehla-Mehlis, which is where your gun was made. Unlike the all-steel model made during WW2, the post-war guns have an alloy frame. Your gun was imported by Interarms, which is why it is marked "Interarms Alexandria VA".

Value depends upon condition & accessories. Click on the ADVANCED SEARCH link on the GB homepage, & search COMPLETED AUCTIONS for "Walther P38 Interarms" to determine what similar guns have sold for.
