How old is this Win 94 serial number?

It looks like it has been rode hard and put up wet. Got it in a trade and it probably is not as old as it looks [:)], but I don't know where to evern begin to find out. It's 41187XX. It's a Win 94, 30-30 top eject.

Looks to me like '74 or '75. That's 1974 or 1975. Not a prize, for sure.
