anyone know of a good quality high power scope? i like the mil-dot reticle. i want something with no less then a 14X minimum power. has to be variable and also no less then a 50mm obj. pricerange:$100-$400

    You can get a Burris Fullfield II for your specs and around $450. You'll have a hard time finding a "good" scope with your specs for that price. Also check out Weaver Grand Slam and Pentax scopes. You may have to change the some of your options but they are also good scopes.

    A wise man once told me that it's hard to "outscope" a gun. That is to say, buy the very best you can. Determine what what you need in a scope then save your money for it.

    If you go with a 50 mm objective you also need a 30 mm tube otherwise you are not getting any benefit.
