Has anyone had any experience with Burris Signature variable scopes with the lighted reticle? How do they compare with the regular ones without that feature?

looking at a 4X Burris Mini on E-Bay, but don't know much about it. Can somebody tell me if this is a decent scope. It also has an adjustable objective, swhich seems kind of odd for a fixed 4X. Any info on this scope would be appreciated. One more question. Would this be an adequate scope to put on a Rem 673 in 350 Rem Mag? Thanks for all your help.

I bought A Burris scope used. Its a Signature series scope 4-16 x 44. It has the day light and twilite setting. It looks to be the Posi-lock version. What is posi-lock and what does it do?

Burris is about the best buy in optics on the market today. I don't know if it will fit a Remington 673. The adjustable objective is a definite plus on any scope good luck.

I have a preference for Burris scopes, they transmit large amounts of light and hold zero quite well.

Burris makes very good scopes. It is unusual to see an AO on a 4X scope, but it will provide a clearer picture. I suppose I'd leave it adjusted at 100 yds.

There's a trend toward much higher powered scopes these days, I have some 8 to 32s, fixed 24 & 36 power for target. Virtually all my hunting rifles have a 2 to 7 or 3 to 9 scope and I think that is sufficient. But it depends on what you're hunting with the 350 Rem Mag & at what range you expect to shoot.

The 350 does have a little kick to it - you'll want to ensure you have sufficient eye relief so the scope doesn't give you a little tap.

Those little 4X compacts are generally used for rim fire target shooting, and thats the reason for the AO.
No reason at all why it will not work on your rifle, just do the mounting the correct way and you'll have no problems, I would suggest Burris Signature rings to keep it tight....
