just got a new Ruger 10/22 with scope this morning for critters in my pecan trees....won't let me get within shotgun range anymore...have not even sighted in or shot it yet.. I saw what looked like a plastic see-through magazine with probably 50 rounds...saw this on a rifle here on gunbroker...anyway, abody know where I might get one of these high capacity mags ?
Thanks

I have used the staggered column 50 rounders and they seem to be less reliable in feeding the ammo.
I think the most reliable extended capacity Ruger 10/22 magazines are the Butler Creek "hot lips" made from steel. These are about $25.00 and hold 25 rounds.
I have two Ramline 50 round magazines also. One works most of time, the other does not.
I would recommend the Butler Creek steel hot lips before any other extended 10/22 magazine bacause of reliability.
