I WAS JUST GOING THROUGH AN OLD BOX OF GUN PARTS, CAME ACROSS AN EXTENDABLE FRONT SITE FOR A MOD 41 22 SEMI TARGET PISTOL THAT I ONCE OWNED . IT'S IN AS NEW CONDITION WITH THE TINY SET SCREWS BUT NO ALLEN WRENCH. ANYONE KNOW THE REAL WORLD VALUE OF THIS TO SOMEONE IN NEED? THE LAST ONE I SAW SOLD WAS ON EBAY HAD 7 BIDDERS AND WENT FOR $182.50 !!!!!! THIS WAS FOR THE FRONT SITE ONLY. IS THIS FOR REAL?

Well, if you own an extendable front sight gun & have lost the sight, I'll bet you will pay plenty to get a replacement. If the other 6 bidders are still looking, you could get even more than that. No one can tell you the "real world" price; it's whatever you can get. It's not like you can look it up in the "Blue Book of Extendable Front Sights".

DEAR NEAL, HOW INSIGHTFUL, I DID NOT THINK THERE WAS A BOOK OF FRONT SIGHT VALUES, JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH SOME REAL PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ITEM.

The barrel complete with sight might bring as high as $400 in mint condition -- if someone had a barrel and was missing the sight, $200 wouldn't be a stretch to put it right... you don't don't often see anyone parting with the extendible sight barrels (I am looking for the set screw for one that I have).
