I have a Rosco .22 Short Pistol. It reads: Made in Germany. Just wanted to find out more about the pistol. It looks old but could just be worn.

A German manufacturer now out of business, made a inexpensive, solid frame, non ejecting revolver called a Romo, back in the 60's. It was also sold under many other names.

Perhaps this is the same revolver? If you can give us all the proof markings it might be possible to pin it down?

Rosco was the trade name for the George Rose Co.
Romo was a trade name for Rosenbaum & Mogul.
Both were US importers, not manufacturers.
Both imported the Rohm RG10 .22 revolver until 1968.

What do you want to know about it? [:D]

I'll ask you again what kind of information do you want?

It's a cheap piece of junk that will spit powder or lead at the shooter.
If you are offered more money than what you paid for it,grab it.

Wish I had better news for you but I don't.Mine was given to me by a lady whose husband passed away and was afraid of it and rightly so.[:(]

Thanks, I shot this one a few times, it didn't spit powder or lead but it was not very accurate. I'm not looking to sell it, Mostly wanted to know a little about it. Thanks again,

They are very low quality guns, not worth much at all. There is nothing else to tell.
