whats the storie on the barrel? with the slide in the foward position the barrel has play in it .I've replaced the locking block and it still has some play in it. what needs to be replaced to make it right? please help

    Nothings "wrong". That's how sloppy the barrel is on some of these. Several things to fix it.
    1. If for target, you can have a bushing fitted by a gunsmith (don't recommend doing it yourself unless your really good)
    2. Wiegard makes a screw in assembly that holds the end of the barrel true and consistent.
    3. Have the barrel replaced with a Jayco target barrel which mates to the slide size and adjusts.
    4. Have the barrel replaced by a gunsmith. Recommend KKM barrel.
