Fake Leupold Mark 4 Beware!!!!!

I see the original topic is now locked. Just a follow-up.
Go to Leupold.com and see their warning. It is on the bottom of the homepage and has a slide show showing the details of the fakes.

    Hi Guys, maybe this has been covered. However I don't get here much, so I thought I would post it. If your buying a used Leupold Mark 4, make sure it's real. seems to bee some fakes going around. If you call 1-800-Leupold with the serial number from the scope, they will tell you if it's real or not. I just won an auction today, their wasn't much info. so I called the guy and asked, he said he didn't know. However he gave me the serial number. I called Leupold and sure enough, it was a fake. I also seen another auction with a picture of the scope on the gun and you can tell that it's a fake from the picture. SO JUST BESURE BEFORE YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!!!
