Is this a good defense round or just a marketing ploy?

I would imagine a 160gr round from a 45 will deliver quite the smack. In 40cal's a lighter bullet is optimal, 155-165gr due to the higher velocities. A 160gr pill from a 45 would probably be quite a heavy hitter.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

My usual defense carry ammo for my Para C645 is Rem Golden Saber 185 gr. JHP ad Blacl Hills JHP's. Is the all copper DPX prone to over penetration? Is the extra price worth it? Or am I just caught up with marketing and should stick with the same?

Your current carry ammunition is quite sufficient, and you won't hear a judge saying "You shot him with a WHAT?

    Good luck
