High Capacity .45

I would like to buy a .45 caliber handgun, but I would like something that has a large capacity magazine. The 1911 is a good gun, but I want more than a 7 round magazine.

The closest I have found to what I want is the .45 caliber M-10 with the 30 round magazine, but I don't want to buy a "neutered" version of a subgun. I would like a MAC-10, just the "real" full auto version.

So, is there any .45 handgun that provides access to a large magazine?

glock, high cap + aftermarket extended is the only 29 rder or so I can think of
para, kimber, couples other make 14 rders

There are 50 rd 1911 stick and drum mags ,that i doubt work well.
I do not feel "undergunned " with a kimber and a couple 10 rd extended wilson combat mags

Well, for a start, could you define "high capacity" ? The Para-Ordnance LDA-14 has a 14 shot mag in a pistol that looks sorta like a 1911. Double action semi-auto, fits in a holster, where a MAC doe not.

Springfield XD had 13rd+1 capacity. You'd never know it from holding the grip either.

Glock 21 comes standard with a 13 Rd. magazine. +2 extensions can be added. Springfield XD45 is also a great choice.

There are a number of 1911-style guns that take double-stack .45 mags, for 13+ rounds.

Para-Ordinance pioneered this type of pistol and has a few models. Here's a cool picture of one:

An Israeli company makes a few competition style models called "Bul" (no bull!). These are polymer-frame double-stack 1911s, and they are imported into the USA by Charles Daly (or used to be).

Taurus has a new polymer frame .45 that holds 12+1, designed for the US military trials (and probably pretty good):

The HK USP in .45 holds 12 rounds.

And there are others.

Of course you could also just stick a 10 round 1911 mag in your pistol, for a little extra capacity.

CZ97 or EAA Witness for 10 rounds, heck, I've got a 10 round Chip McCormick mag for my RI 1911, Glock as others said get up to 13, paraordinance and others go for 13+ as well.

Get a Powder Springs Mac 10 for about $3500 if you want to play and have an investment.
Otherwise get any of the HiCap 45s listed above.
Just be sure it fits your hand and eyes.
