i have got a gun i would like to find out some information all that it has on the barrell is kmart corperation. it was made in mich. needing to know where i can find info and also value of gun.

    You're gonna have to do a little bit better than that for us to be able to give you any help.

    Rifle/shotgun?
    Bolt action/semi-auto?
    Caliber/gauge?
    etc, etc.

    Pics. don't hurt either.

    Give us a little more to go on and someone here will surely be able to help you out.

    Hello bowhunter77,

    We need much more information. Rifle? Shotgun? Action type? Include all markings you might find on the barrel and receiver. Describe the firearm as accurately as you can, including how much original finish remains on both metal and wood. Posting pictures would be ideal.

    sorry guys it is a 12ga single shot on the bottom of the gun it shows that the gun is a model 151 it also says on top kmart corp it was made in brazil by companhia brasileira de cartuchos.the forearm is very wide and thick not like most guns.i will try two get some pics posted thinks for any and all help

    Your shotgun, model 151, was made by CBC in Brazil. They were imported by F.I.E. and sold at K-Mart.

    From MY experience repairing these guns, while they are generally decent looking on the outside, the internal parts are made of extremely soft metal and are poorly fitted. Which cause them to wear faster than you would expect. Replacement parts are sometimes available at Numrichs. I would put the value of your gun at $75-100, in excellent condition, on a very good day.

    EDIT: Just saw the pics. It has a little wear, so I'll change my value to $50-75. If it functions fine, shoot it and enjoy.[:)]
