Has anyone here ever removed the forearm off a win 62 pump 22?

I have the old rossi made Interarms Model, and i remember having a hard time removing the forearm. I am helping a friend restore a rusty Win. 62, but forgot how the forearm comes off.
Thanks for any help.

    (1) Remove sideplate from receiver where slide goes into receiver(1screw)
    (2) Remove Magazine retaining Pin from rear(lower) magazine Ring.
    (3) Slide magazine forward out of forearm.
    (4) Remove forearm / slide assembly
    (5) Remove one screw from each side of forearm (2total)
    (6) Slide forearm wood forard from metal slide. CAUTION: The wood may be very tight from rust, dirt, etc. and can crack very easy.
NOTE: If removing mag rings, they must be turned 90 degree to unlock from dovetail. "DO NOT DRIVE THEM OUT AS YOU WOULD SIGHTS"
HOPE THIS HELPS. Any questions feel free to ask. BOP1814@AOL.COM
