How much is a S&W 29-2 wooden case, cleaning rod, screwdriver and papers worth. This is for a S&W29-2 bought in 1972.

factory presentation wood case - w all 178.00 !!! bidding war , I guess for this particular one.

    three others - guess the " plain jane " models - 40.00 to 60.00

If the case is in very good condition with no splits, warpage or loose hinges or clasps, figure about $75 to $100. This assumes that the interior is there but the "flocking" is disintegrated and has to be redone (I think that there is a spray process but I haven't seen it). Of course if the interior is pristine and the papers and tools are there it all depends on how bad you want it. Question I have is does anyone have the name of someone who can make a new insert, preferrably to house a Model 41 with accessories in an 8 3?8" case?
